Electra, McCarthy, Kardashian hosting Super Bowl party at Jackson’s
This one has been rumored for a while, but new details are beginning to trickle out: Jenny McCarthy, Carmen Electra and Kim Kardashian are in line to host the annual Leather and Laces Super Bowl Party on Friday, Jan. 30 at Jackson’s Bistro on Harbour Island.
The party will be open to the public — tickets to last season’s party sold for $500, according to the Arizona Republic — and will reportedly benefit autism, a cause near and dear to McCarthy’s heart. On Oct. 4, the actor, who has an autistic son, hosted a party at the Playboy Mansion called “Leather Meets Lace,” benefitting Generation Rescue, a global autism research coalition.
As an added bonus, McCarthy’s main man is Jim Carrey, another autism research supporter, who will be in the middle of promoting two movies: Yes Man (scheduled for release Dec. 19) and I Love You Phillip Morris (around Valentine’s Day). So he might very well be on the guest list.
The Jenny-Carmen-Kim co-host trifecta isn’t carved in stone just yet; everyone involved was trying to finalize all the details on Thursday afternoon. But you can get a glimpse of the 2008’s Leather and Laces party at leatherandlaces.com.
