With stories of her upcoming Dancing With The Stars appearance wearing thin, and with the report of her traffic citation Wednesday for speeding in a school zone unable to inspire 300 words, we decided to go looking for some Kim Kardashian news on the sex-tape phenom’s official website today, and to our delight found the following announcement:

Following the link provided to bloggerschoiceawards.com, we discovered that her website, KimKardashian.com, was indeed nominated for four awards, including Best Photo Blog, the coveted Best Celebrity Blogger, Best Video Blogger, and last but not least, the prestigious Best Blog of All Time.
According to the site, which calls itself the most popular user-generated blog voting site on the planet, Kim’s nomination in the four categories came from Md2020, whose user info reveals only that he/she lives in Los Angeles and hasn’t been active since Thursday. With an average of nine votes in each of the four categories she’s nominated, further research showed us Kim can expect some fierce competition.
For instance, nominated againt Kardashian in the Best Blog of All Time category this year is CfHusband.Blogspot.com, a page narrating the true story of Nathan Lawrenson and his wife Tricia. Administrated by Nathan, the blog details the couple’s struggle in conceiving and delivering their daughter Gwyneth, who was born despite the fact Tricia has Cystic Fibrosis and had been awaiting a double-lung transplant when learning of her pregnancy.
And with CfHusband having already received a whopping 1002 votes to Kardashian’s 7 (now it’s 8 votes, thanks to us), it certainly looks to be an uphill battle for the reality television star. Were she instead up against last year’s Best Blog of All Time winner, CuteOverload.com (a website devoted to pictures of kittens frolicking in grass, sleeping puppies etc), her chances would no-doubt be a lot better.
Kim’s also facing some tough competition in the Best Celebrity Blogger category, taking on none-other than television personality Rosie O,Donnell, whose site, Rosie.com, currently leads the pack with 688 votes.
Currently leading in the Best Photography Blog category is, again, CfHusband.com, which leads Kardashian 392 to 11.
