Plenty of people are superexcited to see what Kim Kardashian is going to wear when she swaps vows with Kris Humphries this Saturday in Montecito, Calif.
But if you’re not going to be there to watch Kim walk down the aisle in her Vera Wang custom gown, getting close to a wax figure of the E! star in a bedazzled confection that looks ready to top the most expensive of cakes is the next best thing, right?
Madame Tussauds unveiled a wedding-ready Kim Kardashian figure today at its iconic Hollywood Boulevard location. The ever-smirking bride-to-be reportedly cost $300,000 (including the dress, we imagine) to create and E! News was told that the figure was wearing $1 million worth of jewelry.
Perez Hilton presided over the big reveal and was sure to snuggle right up to “Kim,” give her a smooch and give the famous tush a squeeze.

My pal, Kathie Lee Gifford let it slip that she will be attending Kim Kardashian’s wedding this Saturday. But the generous invite came with some pretty strict instructions — guests have been told to wear black or white, with no exception. The strict requirement furthers the speculation that Kardashian will not be saying ‘I Do’ in a similarly white gown.
“Kim knows better than anyone how to stay dramatic and there is no way she would let herself blend in with everyone else at her wedding by wearing a white dress,” an insider tells me. “If I know her, I bet she will wear red or some color so she pops against everyone else who will be in black or white.”
We know Kardashian has already chosen a gown by designer Vera Wang — she was in New York just last weekend for a final fitting — but any other details of her dress have been guarded almost as closely as Kate Middleton’s sartorial secret.
“When Kim walks down that aisle, she knows she will have the eyes of the world on her,” a friend of the family tells me. “This will be the biggest moment of her life and she is going to make sure she gives everyone something to talk about. Nothing would do that more than shocking folks with a splash of color.”
Gifford snagged an invite to the Kardashian blowout from one of her best girlfriends, Kim’s mom, Kris Jenner. Tune in Monday to the “Today” show when chatty Kathie Lee will be back from the big day.

It’s six days and counting until Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries make their way down the aisle in what is sure to be the celebrity wedding of the year — possibly the decade — and the two looked happy as can be over the weekend.
The couple was spotted leaving the famed Spago restaurant on Sunday night following the Do Something Awards, which Kim attended. As they made their way back to the car, Kim clung to Kris’ arm as both smiled in the bask in their post-meal happiness.
While little is known about the details of Kim’s wedding, it will be Saturday, August 20 and one thing in certain: She will be wearing a Vera Wang gown. Also fairly certain, it will be an absolutely A-list guest list of both celebrities and athletes, and you’ll get a chance to see it all in an E! special that will air in October.
On Sunday night, Kim made her rounds at the Do Something Awards, and even bumped into her pal Justin Bieber, who has been on a kick lately trying to set up Kendall Jenner with his music producer pal. Kim even joked via Twitter, saying: “At awards w @JustinBieber! Just met his friend,wonder if that’s who he wants 2 set Kendall up w LOL.”

She’s been living her life in front of cameras for several years now, so it only makes sense that Kim Kardashian’s wedding will be aired on E!
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the reality TV star and her fiance Kris Humphries will be saying “I do” in a special two-part reality series.
While the couple is set to walk down the aisle later this month, “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event” will not be airing until Sunday, October 9 at 8pm and Monday, October 10 at 9 pm.
According to THR, “The special will go inside Kim and fiance Kris’ wedding, from the wedding planning to the parties to the couple’s actual wedding day, which will take place Aug. 20 in Montecito, Calif.”
Kim Kardashian’s closest friends are getting her wedding presents that definitely aren’t on her bridal registry!
One of her closest pals, Jonathan Cheban, is throwing down big bucks for a gift that every girl would love to get.
“I’m probably gonna get [her] a Birkin bag and something else for him,” he told me this weekend in the Hamptons.
Not too shabby! But which BFF has already bought the bride-to-be leather undies?
That would be Lala Vasquez, who’s married to fellow NBA baller Carmelo Anthony.
“I’ve gotten her quite a bit stuff already…cool robes, some cool lingerie,” she told me at Russell Simmons’ Art for Life soiree. “I even got her some leather underwear, just for fun!”
We’re guessing Kim probably won’t wear that under her wedding gown when she walks down the aisle on Aug. 20, but Jonathan promises she’ll look “insane” in her Vera Wang dress.
“I’ve gotten a few peeks,” he dished, “It’s breathtaking, like tears coming down. She’s gonna look unbelievable.”
As for whether the E! reality star has turned into a Bridezilla? He says so far, so good.
“Not yet, but she does call me with questions all the time,” he shared.
As long as she’s not calling with demands or freakouts, right?!
With her nuptials quickly approaching, Kim Kardashian ventured out to shop for the perfect wedding dress at Vera Wang in New York City earlier today (June 27).
Joined by sister Kourtney , the E! reality stars were accompanied by a film crew as they checked out the famous designer’s gorgeous gown offerings.
While Miss Kardashian’s wedding date with fiance Kris Humphries hasn’t yet been made public, recent reports tell that the brunette beauty and her NBA playing beau have made their decision as to when to walk down the aisle.
An insider told press, “The date that close friends of the family are being given is toward the beginning of August. They are looking at private estates in Los Angeles, since location will make it much easier for guest flying in to attend.”
