They’re one of the most high profile couples in Tinseltown, and Kanye West brought his girlfriend Kim Kardashian along for the ride on the new DJ Khaled music video “I Wish You Would/Cold.” In the clip, the “Love Lockdown” rapper puts his arm around Kim, makes reference to the “Disaster Movie” dame by name and even takes a shot at her ex-husband Kris Humphries.
Kanye raps, “And I’ll admit, I fell in love with Kim/ ‘Round the same time she had fell in love with him,” adding that Humphries was lucky he didn’t have team owner Jay-Z drop him from the roster.
Additionally, West has also released a new song of his own called “Perfect B*tch” that he wrote about Ms. Kardashian.
Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are dating … for real … TMZ has learned.
Sources tell us the relationship is “just starting.” The two were photographed on their way out of a movie date to see “Hunger Games” in NYC last night (April 4, above).
Apparently, Kanye has been after Kim for a while — he just released a new song, “Theraflu” … in which he says he had feelings for the reality star while she was dating Kris Humphries.
“And I admit I fell in love with Kim … ‘Round the same time she fell in love with him … That’s cool, babygirl, do your thing … Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team.”
Kanye is referring to Jay Z — who owns the NJ Nets … the team Humphries plays for.
Word in the music world says that Kanye West is going to drop his new hit “G.O.O.D.” this Friday (for Good Friday — get it?) but he gave himself a head start tonight by releasing the bouncy beat “Theraflu” featuring DJ Khaled. Besides sharing a name with an over-the-counter medicine, the song has another famous name in it: Kim.
The reference is to Kim Kardashian, and the lyrics are as follows: “I admit I fell in love with Kim / ’Round the same time she fell in love with him / Well that’s cool baby girl / Do your thing / Lucky I ain’t had Jay drop him from the team.” Confused? “Him” refers to Kris Humphries, who Kim dated after being associated with Kanye, and Jay-Z is a part owner of the New Jersey Nets, Humphries’ team.
The song may cause drama, but it’s also a great beat that supports Kanye’s reputation as rap royalty. No word yet on whether this track or Friday’s “G.O.O.D.” is the first official single from his upcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation album, or if “Theraflu” is from a solo project.
It’s at the 1:20 mark:
It was a night that knockout beauties Holly Madison and Kim Kardashian stepped into the battle between Jay-Z and Diddy and stole the show! Despite bone-chilling temperatures, there was no freeze on the fun and festivities at midnight on The Strip as Las Vegas ushered in the New Year.
Music moguls and rappers did battle against one other, but the gorgeous glamour of our local heroine Holly and Las Vegas regular Kim outshined them. Their shimmering radiance was as bright as the extraordinary fireworks extravaganza that lit up the skies over The Strip.
Holly walked the red carpet upon arriving at Lavo at the Palazzo last night for her New Year’s Eve hosting duties, and Kim did the same for her hosting duties at sister hotspot Tao at The Venetian. Holly was glittering in gold, and Kim was wondrous in white.
Demi Moore has hit out at Kim Kardashian on Twitter for misusing the word ‘pimping’.
Moore, 47, started the drama when she saw Kardashian, 29, post a message on Twitter saying: ‘Big pimpin w @SerenaJWilliams @LaLaVazquez.’
The actress didn’t seem to be too impressed with the comments and wrote a message to the reality star.
She said: ‘No disrespect I love a girls night out but a pimp and pimping is nothing more than a slave owner!’
Moore added: ‘If we want to end slavery we need to stop glorifying the ‘pimp’ culture.’
However, her followers weren’t impressed with Moore’s comments and sent her messages saying Kardashian obviously didn’t mean it ‘literally’.
Moore replied: ‘It’s not her! iwe have allowed it 2 B considered cool, but it still is what it its!’
Kardashian then defended her own comments and said: ‘Nothing wrong with dancing to Big Pimpin’ by Jay Z in the club! Having a girls night out, gotta love that song!’
Moore added: ‘Just so ya’ll are clear I like @KimKardashian I was just making a point about how we have used a word and desensitized the real meaning.
‘Clearly I stirred up a s**t storm, but 2 create change U have 2 be willing 2 take a risk and be willing 2 provoke thought & conversation.’
Kardashian agreed and said: ‘Good point!Iagree! It was just a song not literal’.
